The body is a woman, believed aged 30 to 40, with European features and wearing a bikini.
The Civil Guard have been called in to investigate the death of a woman whose corpse was found floating 200 metres from the shore of Santa Eulalia Marina on Tuesday 9th of July.
The incident was reported by the private boat that first found the body at around 11pm. The crew had taken the body on board their vessel.
The deceased woman is said to be aged between 30 and 40, she has blonde hair and European features. The Guardia report said there are no signs of violence and all indications are that she died as a result of drowning.
The Guardia Civil say they are unable to identify the body and have no missing person reports. It is hoped friends or family will come forward when the person’s absence becomes of concern.
