Ibiza celebrates its annual day of the tourist on Thursday 21st September.
There are special activities and events planned in all of Ibiza’s five municipalities, and though readers may again be surprised at the very short notice of the programme which does restrict any efforts to notify the tourists of the celebrations being held in their honour, we are at least pleased to report that neither ‘public stoning’ or ‘forced repatriation’ appear on the schedules.
Though the day of the tourist is officially set for the 21st, there are activities on the days following too – including the always popular free boat trips from San Antonio and Cala de Bou (find them in the San José section). No price is stated but they are usually around 5€ (and full of residents).
