Spanish Customs Officers have taken steps to seize a total of 22 Cannabis plants growing in a forest area near to Playa Den Bossa and Ibiza airport, in the municipality of San José.
The Marijuana plants were found being grown in large pots on property that is designated for tourist use.
The operation to seize the plants began at 10am on Monday 26th September.
The 22 plants weighed in at 35 kilograms, although those that remember last year’s haul in San José may wonder how much less the seizure will weigh tomorrow.
We understand there to have been no arrests, and it is not known if the property was occupied at the time of the raid.
