Family and friends are asking for help from the Ibiza community in their efforts to find ex Ibiza worker Rem Kingston.
31 year old Rem Kingston was travelling from Valencia via Ibiza to Palma, Mallorca by Ferry on 22nd March 2019.
He was last seen at 5am when he left the overnight ferry cabin.
When his disappearance was discovered, authorities launched an air and sea search for the man, who they feared had fallen overboard.
Ferry operator Balearia confirmed that the man had been seen on security cameras for the last time around 5am. They said that the most likely outcome was that he had fallen overboard. The search involved helicopters and vessels however further statements by authorities raised fears as he had been missing longer than it was considered survival was likely.
The ferry on which the events occurred is the 880 person capacity Hypatia de Alejandría, which operates between Palma, Valencia and Ibiza.
Despite the statements of authorities, family and friends believe he could be alive and are appealing for information.
They say it is possible he may have disembarked at Palma or Ibiza or that he remained on the ferry and disembarked in Valencia.
Rem was once a worker in Ibiza and still has friends on the island.
Rem is around 5ft 6ins tall and of slim build. He has short, curly, mousey brown hair and blue eyes.
At the time of his disappearance Rem was wearing light blue skinny jeans a light blue t shirt, denim jacket with zip up front, with grey jumper material arms and hood. He was also wearing Nike air force one trainers – white with red Nike tick.
