Ibiza’s day of the tourist, or to be correct four days of the tourist, runs from September 20th to 23rd.

Ibiza’s President, Vicent Torres, said that the day of the tourist is a day that serves to “give public thanks to all the people who choose Ibiza for their holiday every year. We have to be very grateful and we have to convey the message to the citizens of Ibiza that we need to take care of tourism,” said the president, who is also responsible for the Department of Tourism of the Council.

Included in the schedule of events are guided tours, open days, exhibitions, workshops and tastings related to the heritage, natural spaces, traditions and cuisine of the island.

The full programme is below, and can be downloaded for local printing. Pages 2 to 4 are Spanish, pages 5 to 7 English, and pages 8 to 10 Catalan.

The programme will appear immediately below this text. It is quite a large file size pdf, so if it doesn’t appear immediately please give it time to load.
