Formentera’s first 5* hotel, Five Flowers, is now open. The Five Flowers Hotel & Spa Formentera is in a great location in Es Pujols, just 250 metres from the beach.
Boho Chic
The decor throughout the hotel and in the rooms is inspired by the boho-chic lifestyle of the island. Whilst the elegant and original design is inspired by the aesthetics of the 60’s and 70’s, it is also very contemporary. There are 79 rooms and suites with sea views and terraces and with 6 categories to choose from, there’s something for everyone – boutique, premium, family, sky, suite and grand suite. Some of the suites have round beds and the grand suites on the top floor have a large terrace and a private Jacuzzi. All have smart technology and there’s WIFI through out.
Sky Bar
There’s also a spa, fitness club and 2 conference rooms. The Sky Bar on the roof has an infinity pool and jacuzzi, and has unbeatable 360º views looking across the salt flats to Es Vedra, the hills on Ibiza, Dalt Vila, the sandy beaches of Formentera stretching along to Illetas and the resort of Es Pujols and beyond. It’s the perfect spot at any time of day: for the sunset, looking at the stars in the night sky with a cocktail or admiring the view from the pool or from the comfort of a sun lounger during the day.
Kokoy Restaurant
Down below there’s a large pool and plenty of beds and sun loungers to relax on should you not want to go to the beach. And with a pool bar and restaurant on hand, you won’t need to go far for food and drinks. The buffet breakfast, weekend brunch and dinner is served in the restaurant, which also has tables outside near the pool. The hotel also houses the Kokoy Japanese restaurant by renowned Michelin Star chef Hideki Matsuhisa, who is considered to be the best Japanese chef in Spain. Kokoy is located on the rooftop space, next to the Sky Bar, and serves a fusion of Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine, incorporating local products from the sea and the land.
As you would expect from a 5* hotel, it offers 24-hour room service and valet parking.
