Another of the low pressure weather phenomena, know as a DANA is due to hit Ibiza Sunday 20th October.
A Dana is an isolated low pressure area surrounded by high pressure conditions. When the September DANA struck it caused some of the worst weather Ibiza has known for many years. This time the AEMET experts say the rain will start on Sunday, but it will not be until Tuesday that we experience the full force of the storms predicted.
Sunday and Monday have both been designated as Yellow Alert, however Tuesday has not yet been categorised. Despite this, Tuesday shows a 100% rain likelihood, and with winds showing as southern and easterly, it may be that the Airport could feel the full force of the storms.
