To understand the photo montage above, the context of the picture is that in the same week as Carl was visiting Ibiza with a motorbike club, the island was also hosting a jetski festival and had an influx of zombies. Does sound pretty ridiculous – but if you want to see that extended article there is a link at the foot of this page.

Ever wondered what you would do with all that money if you were one of the world’s most successful superstar DJs?
We can’t think of many better uses of splashing some cash than setting up your own motorsport team—which is exactly what Carl Cox has done.
Formed in 2013 and racing Bikes and Sidecar Combinations in Europe and Australasia, including the New Zealand & World road race Sidecar championships, and the Ducati Tri-Options Cup in the UK, Carl’s team has already found some notable success.
Team Cox has recently extended onto four wheels and into the world of Drag racing.
As far as using surplus cash is concerned, we thoroughly approve of his new Hemi powered Plymouth (pictured)—which Carl races himself. Here is some press from its first run out ..
“The newly developed CCX Hemi-powered Road Runner got it’s first look at the Heathcote Dragway this weekend, with none other than Mr Cox himself at the wheel! We’re extremely happy with the result at the car’s first Test & Tune day- even with temperatures causing the cars to run much hotter than normal Coxy still managed a brilliant 11.08 at 125mph!
There’s still a LOT more to come from this street legal Hemi, and we’ll see Carl back at the wheel in the new year for some more 1/4 mile mayhem:)”
We have the impression Carl is having a bit of fun with this -as soon as the Hemi was racing he announced his next car now in development—which promises a quite ridiculous 2,000hp.
