The doors are open and Gatecrasher have landed on the island with a bang! Formerly Eden, the club had a multi-million euro makeover last season with the installation of the first VOID Gold Incubus Sound-system, firmly making it a serious contender alongside the other super-clubs on the island.
With the season now well underway, Friday nights belong to El Carnaval, a party of epic proportions with a selection of electronic music’s most exciting global pioneers. Inside Gatecrasher, the already stunning club is set to be intensified with flamboyant entertainment & production, think Cirque du Soleil meets burlesque meets El Row with a seductive twist on reality. Expect memorising visuals, Burlesque Dancers, Freak Shows, awe-Inspiring light and laser shows, state of the art sound, Insane Stage Performances combined it with world class DJs all night long.
Size Matters family members AN21, Max Vangeli & Third Party have been confirmed as residents alongside a series of special guests throughout the season including house master Fedde le Grand, Thomas Gold, Danny Avila, Deniz Koyu, Ummet Ozcan & Russian stars Hardrock Sofa.
AN21 has enjoyed a quick rise to fame. Lead by his passion for music, the brother of Steve Angello has quickly stood on his own two feet supporting the worlds biggest names worldwide. He has graced the booth at Creamfields, EDC, Ultra Music Festival and closer to home Pacha, Space & Ushuaia. Balancing the realms of being an A&R for Size as well as touring the world, An21 & his talents are certainly one to watch out for this summer at El Carnaval.
If AN21 is Batman, then Max Vangeli is Robin. Max has been right next to AN21 on his rise to fame & was named as one of the most promising artists of 2011 by MTV. Max teamed up with AN21 on a number of the duo’s early collaborations & worked with the Tiesto on their track ‘People of the Night’.
The formidable duo of Third Party broke to widespread attention when their track ‘Release’ caught the ear of Steve Angello, leading to their signing with Size Records. With support from Tiesto & Pete Tong and tour dates in the UK & Pacha Ibiza, Third Party recently returned with their track ‘Everyday Of My Life’ on Size – set to become one of many summer anthems from the El Carvanal ring this summer.
If you’re looking for an alternative forward thinking musical night then EL Carnaval is the place for you.!! May all your days be Circus Days – El Carnaval

I know what you are thinking, cut to the chase, how much is it? There are sometimes some crazy prices attached to VIP and 4 Star venues in Ibiza, often exaggerated I’m sure but forget all that anyway—Ocean’s pricing is attainable to most regular wage earning people—until you kids of course, then you’re knackered so all the more reason to enjoy life to the full now.
We found peak season (end of July) Double Superior for 192€ (£150) per night but if you can afford it the Suite seems a bargain at 40€ (£32) more. I mean if you are going to do it you may as well do it right.
Compare this to a Superior Double in the same period with Ushuaia at 502€ (£401) and Ocean starts to look a real bargain. As words like ‘bargain’ have no place in your 2 weeks a year of spoiling yourself just forget about the price difference while you are here then remember it when you look at your bank balance when you get home.
Book direct through the Ocean Beach Club website—you get the same price but lots of extras thrown in.
Dress to impress-last year’s M&S swimwear may do you in Lanzarote but Ocean Party People take poolwear seriously.
Pair up and go Presidential. You can get some unbelievable pricing on the 2 bed 4 person Master suites. See Below

Cream’s sunset cruise this year will be hosted by Paul van Dyk. The event takes place on Thursday 31st July and is billed as “the perfect warm up to Cream 20th Anniversary party at Amnesia later that night, and will give passengers the opportunity to experience the true beauty of the Balearics, with the stunning ibiza sunset as the backdrop and a very special 3 hour set from one of Germany’s finest musical exports. “
That’s what they say anyway, we wonder if you’ve got the stamina. Go one, prove us wrong, tickets 35€
Tinie Tempah @ Hard Rock Hotel
Tinie Tempah has been announced to play at The Hard Rock Hotel on July 18th. He has already played at Ibiza Rocks and made a guest appearance at Privilege at SuperMartXé back in June, so this will be his third appearance on the island already this summer. So if you haven’t seen him yet, third time lucky.
Miles Kane @ Ibiza Rocks
The final headline act at Ibiza Rocks has been announced. Miles Kane will play on August 20th at the outdoor venue in San Antonio. Miles played a storming acoustic gig last year at the Ibiza Rocks Bar’s third Birthday party. Ibiza Rocks says, “Miles’s vintage style combined with a fresh rock n roll swagger and topped with his innate ability to write brilliantly unique and immediately recognizable music, makes him the ideal rock n roll soundtrack to a night under the stars”. Definitely one not to be missed!
Sunk at Privilege
Sunk went Hunk to get the word out for their opening at Privilege Tuesday with their first PR parade—a busy week for the trance troop with the first Driftwood boat party of the year too, and probably in Tropi the rest of the time, they just can’t get enough of it.
Disco-Day-Bus; Bossa -San An
As of July 1 there’s a new daily bus service from Playa D’en Bossa to San Antonio. Basically the 3-B Discobus service has been extended to operate from 4pm in the afternoon, giving a direct service between the resorts and Ushuaïa, Space, Bora Bora and Sankeys from San Antonio
